James 1:2-4 says: “My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience, but let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.”
Trials are never fun, usually painful, but ultimately necessary if our faith is to grow, be established and mature with a strong root system grounded in the Word of God.
Like this rain that makes Nicaragua the beautiful green country that it is, the rain (trials) in our lives are necessary to make our lives a beautiful, sweet smelling aroma to our Lord Jesus Christ.
Don’t hate the rain! Welcome it, embrace it and let it have its perfect work in you!
