Clothing
While traveling to and from Managua jeans and a tee shirt are the recommended clothing.
Nueva Guinea is a a traditional town. So dress should be conservative. Shorts and conservative
swimming apparel should also be brought along. Sweaters and heavy jackets are not necessary, usually, but a light wind breaker or Pancho for the rain would be useful. Remember most times it is 80 degrees with 80% humidity. Walking shoes with a good grip are essential. Sandals would also be useful for the shower.
Men should have a collared shirt for church and pants for church. Pants are recommended when traveling into town. Shorts and tee shirts are okay on the facility.
Women should bring a dress for church. Dress modestly so no miniskirts. In town pants or capris are okay but dresses are always preferred.
